General assistants price per seat per month, with tiers usually separating model access, usage limits, and features like file handling or web access. Support platforms typically price by resolution, conversation, or contact volume, which scales with your customer base rather than your team.

For anything customer-facing, check the data handling terms and whether conversations are retained or used for training — that tends to be the constraint that decides which of these is usable.
